2018/2019 Children Daily Exercise, Dance Classes, and Cooking Classes sponsored by The Horizon Foundation for New Jersey

Children Sports Club (Wednesday 3:30-4:30 PM, Instructor: Jihyun Jung)
This class requires a variety of exercises that helps with flexibility and body balance. Throughout the class, children will be learned the basics of exercise such as stretching, basic postures, strength and rhythm.

Let’s be a Ballerina (Thursday  5:00-6:00 PM Instructor: Hyun Joo Lee)
This class motivates young children to learn coordination, balance and how to control bodies in motion. Moreover, dynamic ballet stretching strengthens muscles and bones that need for growth period. Also, they learn how to work together as team members and handle assignments to accomplish goals.

Teen K-Pop Dance (Wednesday 4:30-5:30 PM, Instructor: Jihyun Jung)
This class requires a variety of exercises that helps with flexibility and body balance. Throughout the class, children will be learned the basics of exercise such as stretching, basic postures, strength and rhythm.

Kids Fitness Club (Wednesday 4:30-5:30 PM, Instructor: Jihyun Jung)
This class requires physical activities using Jumbo ball, block play, and other various games with play methods. It also helps to build strong bones and muscles and control weights at the same time. During the activities, children will be able to reduce symptoms of anxiety or depression.

Twinkle Kids Ballet (Thursday  4:00-5:00 PM Instructor: Hyun Joo Lee)
This Ballet class is targeted for young children up to 7years old. The lesson improves children’s physical senses and raises interest in ballet. Also music will help to stable children’s emotions, strengthen their mental health, and develop creativity.

Kids Golf (Friday 2:00-2:50PM, Instructor: Sung Hwan Lee)
Golf instruction helps children to develop their physical strength and concentration through the acquisition of various skills. In addition, they learn about rotational movement which improves quickness and flexibility.

Children & Teen Archery (Thursday 4:00-4:50 PM & 5:00-5:50 PM, Instructor: Hansung Kim)
Archery uses the entire body to strengthen the core/lower body and improves concentration as well. KCC Archery class teaches not only archery skills but also trains them through physical exercise and repetition, which helps prevent childhood obesity.

Monica Sull’s Healthy Food(Wednesday 10:00-11:30 am, Instructor: Monica Sull)
Balanced diet of Korean food and healthy eating habits will provide plenty of energy to children. The food you learn about in this cooking class will improve a children’s immune system, and protect their bodies from coughing and sniffles. Also, the instructor will briefly explain about the importance of healthy eating habits and nutritious foods.

Cooking Club (Thursday 10:00-11:30 am, Instructor: Hyun Jung Choi)
Every meal should be well balanced and children need to have enough nutrients such as vitamins and protein every day. This class will teach you how to cook nutritious and delicious meals for your children and your family.

Mom’s Kitchen (Saturday 10:00-11:30 am, Instructor: Young Ju Yoon)
Are you afraid of cooking? Are you interested in learning a new recipe? Mom’s Kitchen will help those who work or do not have time to learn to cook on weekdays. Mom’s Kitchen is taught by a culinary expert and each recipe is packed with easy, simple, and nutritious food.
